The next morning, Lovino woke to the sound of a baby crying.
Once his vision cleared, he was slightly alarmed by the unfamiliar room until he realised he was still at the hospital. He rubbed his eyes trying to remember what was going on and when it hit him, he smiled a little.
Timo had a baby.
Listening to the child crying was oddly like music to his ears. Lovino didn’t realise he could be so worried about the offspring of someone he’d only met a couple months ago but here he was so relieved to hear Timo’s child crying.
The noise died down just as it was starting to get annoying and Lovino decided it might be a good enough t

Getting settled at the hospital wasn’t too hard but Lovino knew he was going to miss his own bathtub, his own kitchen, his own treadmill, and his own bed since bathing, eating, exercising a little and sleeping a lot were pretty much the only things he was allowed to do during his bed rest. He also had to deal with being hooked to IV again and he really hated that because if he wanted to move around at all, he had to wheel around the IV bag with him. When Antonio left at the end of the first day, he did feel a little abandoned and lonely but trying to distract himself by watching Antonio’s stupid animes did not help much at all.

Lovino watched as Antonio slept. The twins had woken him up rather early but he didn’t want to disturb his sleeping companion so he lay still for a while just watching him. He couldn’t believe it really; it had been a week now since Antonio came home and the night before, they had sex. He had been so sexually frustrated for a while but he hadn’t felt attractive in a long time so it was a bit of a shock when the Spaniard came on to him. Now that it was over though, he couldn’t have felt happier with himself. He’d suffered many changes during his pregnancy: weight gain, swollen ankles, the return of acne, a fuller

The drive home was silent for the most part. They stopped at Elizabeta and Roderich’s place first so Antonio could grab a few essentials and Spain but he still had some things at Lovino’s house so they didn’t stop long. When they did get home, Lovino wasn’t sure how to proceed. He just watched as Antonio brought his things inside.
“Um...” Lovino said. “Are you going to sleep...in our bed? I mean, the guest rooms are... Well, Feli helped me convert one for the twins, so... The bed in Marina’s room is a bit small... And the last is my office stuff…”
“I can sleep on the couch,R

“Timo? The Timo with Arthur’s kid?” Antonio asked. “He’s Lovi’s psych?”
“Yes, he's a very good psychologist. Very easy to open up to.”
Roderich and Elizabeta had driven Antonio to the hospital on the day of the meeting. Since they’d arrived much earlier due to the doctors’ work schedules, Antonio had hung out in the food court with his laptop most of the morning. He then had lunch with the couple and was now hanging out in Roderich’s office until the pair of them would join Lovino and Timo’s session.
Antonio frowned as he sat at Roderich’s desk. “Do you

Lovino saw Timo on Thursday for a couple weeks. They talked a lot about various things but mostly the pregnancy and things that Lovino felt he needed to get off his chest. He told the doctor about what it was like going to a private boarding school from first grade all the way through high school, how the other students treated him, how Antonio was the only one he felt he could trust there and how frustrating it was watching him go through three different relationships without realising that Lovino had feelings for him. The Italian recounted how he felt when Roderich, Antonio and his friends left for Canada, how he leapt at the chance to foll

“You’re pregnant too?”
The first thing Lovino noticed as he stepped into Dr. Väinämöinen’s office was that he too was sporting a baby bump. The Italian was surprised having never witnessed two pregnant guys at the same time (except for the brief time that Feliciano had been pregnant during Matthew’s pregnancy but he didn’t bother thinking about that.)
“Oh, you must be Lovino! Tervetuloa!” The Finnish man put down the yoghurt he’d been snacking on and stood to shake Lovino’s hand. “Welcome! And yes, I’m twenty seven weeks along.”
Lovino frowned knowing

Living with Elizabeta and Roderich wasn't the easiest for Antonio and it was mostly because they were purposefully making it difficult for him. For one, they didn’t share food and he had to purchase his own groceries. On top of that he was now responsible for nearly all the household chores: dishwashing, taking out the garbage, cleaning the bathroom, cleaning the kitchen, mowing the lawn, watering the garden, grooming their cat (which was fluffy and shed much worse than Spain), cleaning the litter box, etc. Between that and actual work, Antonio barely had anytime to himself. Even during that time, Roderich would occasionally try to coax

“How are we doing this morning?” Elizabeta asked. Lovino had come in for his check up the following and the pair were now sitting in the examination room. Feliciano had brought him but the younger Italian left to pick them up some lunch.
“I guess I’m fine...” Lovino said. “I started feeling the babies move yesterday and that was something...”
“That’s a good sign. It means they’re getting strong,” she replied typing it in on her computer. “Any aches? Pains?”
“Not really... Getting cankles which I’m not very pleased about...”

At first, Lovino found it insulting whenever someone stopped him from doing things for himself, such as cooking or fetching things, but soon he realised it was quite fun, especially when he was able to boss Ludwig around. It started off with him hesitantly asking for the occasional thing but then he grew to find that as long as Feliciano was around, Ludwig would do almost anything. Lovino was able to tap into his really lazy side now with food being served to him and things retrieved for him and clothes bought for him—with his own money but physically shopped by Feliciano. When no one was looking however, Lovino would pull out his lapto
